The bathroom situation was really frustrating. The shower was a disaster, blasting hot and cold water unpredictably, and it splashed everywhere. Plus, there was peeling wallpaper and a generally neglected vibe. It felt like it needed some serious TLC.

My stay was REALLY GOOD at Great Value. The room was a nice size and well-equipped with comfortable furniture and bed, had free Wi-Fi, and the staff were patient. Had super central location close to the markets on Saturday.

The location is super convenient-you can stroll along the river right into town, which is great when the weather's nice. The staff were really cute and helpful, making check-in a breeze. I also enjoyed the sunny outdoor area, perfect for relaxing with a book.
The room felt a bit outdated and could use some maintenance. The bathroom had some quirks, like a shower that made quite a mess, and the kitchen cabinets had a musty smell which made me hesitant to use them. Plus, the parking situation was a bit tricky, it could definitely be improved!

We were booked into the front first floor room with an excellent window seat and great view of the Whanganui River. The room was lovely and modern, and large, and the location was perfect as it enabled us to walk down to breakfast, at Mud Ducks which was also excellent. Highly recommended!

I was kinda surprised by the spaciousness of our room with two bedrooms and comfy beds, made for a restful night. The location by the river was lovely, and the staff, especially the helpful Scottish gentleman, really made us feel welcome.
Breakfast delights could use some fresh fruit options.

I recently stayed for a weekend getaway at this charming motel, and I was pleasantly surprised by the spaciousness of our River view unit. It was perfect for two, but could easily accommodate four guests. The full kitchen was well-equipped, making it a great choice for an extended stay. The twin lazy boy couches added to the comfort, and the nearby scenic river walk was a good bonus. The friendly staff and the clean, tidy environment enhanced our experience.

had a river view room. very pleasant, with comfortable relaxing layout. clean, tidy.one of the better motels we stayed at in our travel.
local council needs to fix/smooth out the road outside the motel. can be a bit noisy if in a front unit

The database provided a wide range of options and filters, making it easy to find exactly what we were looking for. the user interface was user-friendly and intuitive, making navigation a breeze. the room was lovely and clean, perfect for our group.
The room didn't have any air conditioning, so it was a bit hard to cool the room down for our older in-laws.
